On 02.06.2012, Suresh Arya Sr. Research Officer Dept. of Financial Services, GOI confirmed before Chief Information Commissioner for having cleared Pension Scheme for RRB employees on par with sponsor banks and orders, other documents will be provided within 2 weeks. During video conference with H Basavaraj, retired Officer of Pragathi Gramin Bank Karnataka under RTI act.
H. Basavaraj is a member of AIRRBEA, now retired. He has been regularly sending AIRRBEA the informations received by him through R.T.I.
Com.Dilip Kumar Mukherjee, Secretary General, AIRRBEA has sent the text message received from com.H.Basavaraj to us. This the message:
Dear friends,
As informed earlier, there was a video conference this day at 12.30 PM at Davanagere with the information commissioner Smt. Deepak Sandhu and the S C Arya representing MOF New Delhi. During the hearing, the GOI, MOF has submitted its order along with draft copy of extending the Pension to RRB employees on par with the Nationalized banks. This matter was read over to me by the commissioner during the hearing. The commissioner has directed the MOF to send the Govt. order along with all the text related to the order to my address with in two weeks. I have sought for inspection of documents at MOF New delhi. The information commissioner also permitted me to inspect the records at MOF New Delhi with in two weeks from the date of receipt of order and records from MOF. The video conference was witnessed by our friends Sri. Shivakumar Kowthal, Sri. M. Basavarajappa, Sri. I.M. Chandrasekharaih, who are the retired officials of Pragathi Gramin bank. I have also recorded the the discussion had during the video conference through my camera. The same will be sent to you shortly. I have followed up this issue since 2010 under RTI, when the cases was pending at Supreme court level. I have done with the cost of Rs.10/- only. Let us say and Respect to the supreme act i.e. RTI Act. Use RTI, bring transparency and accountability and say good bye to corruption.

So, It is definite now that the pension is cleared by Finance Minister. And we are going to know the details very soon. If we get the videos from com.H.Basavaraj, we will publish it in our website.
